Anderson Bueno, Make-up Designer transforms you into a star for your life!

Combining technics and talent in a 25 year career, Anderson Bueno is one of the most recognized Make-up designers specialized in make-up for Theater, Musical Theater, Opera performances and big events in Brazil being the recipient of many awards for his work. He has also worked as a beauty consultant for the Reality Show “Sob Medida” presented by Daniela Albuquerque at Rede TV in Brazil.

Self-taught in the beginning, Anderson graduated in theatrical Make-up with expert Corinne Perez in 2001 and Artistic Make-up at the renowned Stick Art Studio in Barcelona, Spain. Later he gained more experience working with renowned professionals such as Beto França and Henrique Mello in Brazil and in the United States he has worked with Bruna Nogueira, Dany Sanz, Nicoleta Skarlattos and the Oscar winner Ve Neill.

Among many of his artistic creations for the stage we can highlight the Opera “Rigoletto” directed by Felipe Hirsch and Daniela Thomas, for the centennial celebration of the Municipal Theater of São Paulo; Anderson also created make-up for the musicals “Godspell”, “The Vagina Monologues”, “Hair Spray”, “La Cage Aux Folles”, “Xanadu”, “Hello Dolly!” and “Hebe – The Musical”, acclaimed by critics and public and recipient of many awards including Best Make-up by “Prêmio Musical Cast”, Prêmio Arte Qualidade Brasil and “Prêmio Bibi Ferreira” which is the most important Musical Theater Award in Brazil, all directed by Miguel Falabella. He also created for “The Phantom of The Opera”, directed by Harold Prince and the plays “Nany People Salvou Meu Casamento”, directed by Imara Reis and “Lady Macbeth” directed by Antônio Abujamra. Recently Anderson crossed the Atlantic to create the characterization for the play “La Dame aux Camélias” by French writer Alexandre Dumas Filho starring the renowned actor Roberto Cordovani in Lisbon, Portugal..

Anderson also gives courses and workshops throughout the Country especially for companies interested in having its staff with a more uniform appearance. He got recognition for doing a project of enormous social responsibility for more than ten years, giving courses of self make-up for patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment in many specialized hospitals such as Hospital Sírio Libanês, Hospital Pérola Byington, Hospital Vila Nova Cachoeirinha and Hospital Nove de Julho in São Paulo.

Among the many famous people he has worked with are singer Claudia Leitte, actresses Marília Gabriela and Marília Pêra and also the internationally known actors Patrick Dempsey and John Malkovich. Anderson has also worked with Japanese artist and singer Yoko Ono.

In the theater Anderson also co-directed and created make-up for the comedy “Louca de Amor – Quase Surtada“ featuring actress Lena Roque and “Menopause – The Musical” which he also co-produced. .

Nowadays, Anderson also dedicates part of his time on his own YouTube channel in a program called “Papo de Camarim” in which he interviews, in a casual way, celebrities during the make-up process. He has also been developing motivational coaching and giving speeches throughout Brazil showing to many beauty professionals that “make-up is much more than a painting on the face”.
